is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Audit Intern to join our team
for a 3-month internship. This role is designed for individuals ready to
apply their academic knowledge to real-world financial analysis and compliance
within a global network.
At the end of the
3-month period, successful candidates who demonstrate strong performance will
have a chance to be offered a permanent Audit Associate (A1) position.
Responsibilities:
- Engagement
Support:
Assist the audit team with substantive testing, analytical procedures, and
fieldwork.
- Documentation: Prepare,
organize, and reference audit working papers accurately in accordance with
International Standards on Auditing (ISA).
- Reconciliation: Help verify
financial statements, bank reconciliations, and ledgers.
- Tax &
Compliance:
Assist in reviewing client compliance with local tax codes and
regulations.
- Data
Handling:
Analyze financial data and extract key metrics using Excel.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's
degree (or final year student) in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a
closely related field.
- Qualifications: Active
pursuit of the ACCA qualification is highly preferred.
- Languages: Fluency in
Azerbaijani, English, and Russian is required for local and international
client communication.
- Skills: * Solid
grasp of core accounting principles and double-entry bookkeeping.
- Strong
proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent
analytical skills and a high level of professional skepticism.
